It looks like some forum tennis members here already like to play tennis or maybe would like to learn. I don't know if we have a thread for such a discussion. But maybe people would like to share anything they have learned about how to play tennis, or good resources on how to learn how to play, what tennis gear they like, etc. Some good tennis instructions online resources I have come accross are: http://www.tennis.com/yourgame/index.aspxhttp://www.moderntennis.com/In the States, you can join the USTA (US Tennis Association) and participate in tennis leagues. They also are a good resource to find tennis players locally to play tennis with, tennis clubs, coaches, other tennis resources. Here is the link: http://www.usta.com/With regards to tennis gear, I currently use a Babolat AeroPro Drive racket (I Think it is the same as Rafael Nadal's model), I like Nike tennis shoes and when it comes to the outfits I go back and forth between Nike and Adidas. I usually buy my rackets at the club I belong to, but this is a place I like to buy tennis clothes and shoes from: http://www.tenniswarehouse.com/ What does everyone else like or would like to share?

mona lisa thanks for the links, I never watch it online since I have my personal trainer at club.. how long do you playing tennis? regarding all gear, I am using head Head MicroGel Prestige Mid, with a 16x18 string pattern, similar to Marat racket but mine is 295g, and I think that one which he has used is 346g. Since I am playing on hard court my tennis shoes are from adidas barricade V and outfit is also from adidas (addicted to adidas since ever ), so I have Ana Ivanovic dress from adidas and few more from same company Like my coach like to say, I have more professional and more expensive equipment from him

Mira, nice to hear that you play tennis as well. I have been playing tennis since I was little and have been playing on and off throughout the years. I joined a tennis club and have been participating in tennis league play in the last couple of years and I mostly play on hard courts. I do love the blue and purple adidas dresses that Anna wore last year. How about you, how long have you been playing?

Glad some tennis players abound!!
I am glad that one of my brothers is with me now for the holidays and we play on clay courts. Difficult to maintain this one court but i am on it maintaining it in our compound!!
No empires and so you can imagine???
More glad that i have been able to convince one of my freinds to put a tennis racket in the hands of his 7 year old daughter to start playing tennis!! He has hired a coach and tells me that things could not be better..!!!
All the way tennis, this most challenging of sports!!
