Soory vesna!! no offense, but i am offended- real crappy stuff you write!!

Highly presumptous and cynical!!!

I put it to you: Do you think that Marat would take
the trouble to go all the way to Sweden and
just at the last minute think he would not want
to play and retire! you are really putting
him down and thats an insult to his integrity!!

By the way he would not be in Israel now if
he did not love his tennis!! Besides he
has been chosen by his Country!!

You may have written it in jest but i dont
think it s funny!

You need a beer perhaps madame!!

Marat will play N.Almagro in the 1st round.
Almagro has a 2-0 H2H against Marat, both matches were on Clay.

Great Chance for Marat to avenge ...

I always feel Marat gets his
motivation to avenge past losses
and this will be a great opportunity...

Well, I think it will be tough for Marat to adjust from grass & hard court to clay - I have to admit, I'm surprised to see that he didn't withdraw, and won't be surprised if he does..

Almagro is a tough opponent on clay, and I wish Marat best of luck in beating the guy!

Draw is out since yesterday I think.

Marat meets Almagro in the first round. Tough match. He is in Soderling's half, whom he could meet in the third round.

No problem - I forgot to move it across to tournaments - anyhow now we have one thread and can continue here.
Will see how well Marat can adapt from indoor carpet to clay.
One thing he likes Bastad.

Greeting from Sweden! Or should I say 'Hej' to use the local word.

Just had a stroll around the tennis center. The weather is great (I´m in just a t-shirt for the first time since my arrival in Sweden 2 days ago), the beach in front of the complex was full of people swiming and jumping in the water and those not on the beach were enjoying a nice chilled beer on one of the many bars and cafés around. This place is a true summer spot.
Tennis sighitings already: Potito Starace walking by, Robin Soderling practicing center court with a crowd that would put many 1st round matches to shame and Peter Lundgren talking on the phone (he lost weight!)

Marat is probably still in the process of getting here and since he isn´t in the order of play for tomorow he´ll have some time to adjust.

OOP for Monday: http://men.swedishopen.org/Tournament/Draw.aspx
