I would really want to see Roger vs Rafa Final and Roger finally beating Nadal !
And, Sveta Kuznetsova vs Serena Final, so Sveta can beat Serena !

Two excellent games on today though! Tsonga Vs. Djokovic. Been waiting for this one for a long, long time. If Tsonga doesn't freeze, this one is his, and he's been playing all year like he belives this is his year. Djokovic, however, playing at his best, is a cracker. One to watch. Then Roddick Vs. Federer another one. Ordinarily I'd pick Federer, but two things. Firstly Federer is looking distinctly fuller around the waist, whereas Roddick is looking distinctly fitter. Secondly, Federer is fight to come back mentally, Roddick is fighting to go forth. Definately one to watch.

Yep, Djoko has been playing very well from what I've seen, not sure about Tsonga - he is "up & down" player..
Federer vs Roddick is a tough one - Roger lost to Roddick last year (was in in Qtr-Final as well? can't remember).
This is important one for Roger, as you said, mentally, especially he loves beating players he lost to last time..
I'm definitely cheering for Roger !
In Verdasco vs Murray encounter - GO VERDASCO - love watching him too ! and I don't know why but don't like Murray:)

I know Natasha! The other side of the coin is just as riveting! Verdasco Vs. Murray? I can't imagine it, they're so different! Either playing their best can win. I'd like to see Verdasco take on Nadal and win this time! It's a right toss-up eh?! I agree about Tsonga but if he's playing well, you can't match his shot making ability. Depends on whether or not Djokovic manages to pin him to the baseline. If Tsonga starts moving it's going to be spectacular.

Kenny, did you watch Roger vs Roddick last night?
Great match - high quality match! great shots! and Roddick played really well, so even bigger win for Roger!
Now Federer will take on Djoko - if he plays the way he did yesterday, with an exception of couple of UE on important points, he will beat Djoko in 2 sets.
Yes, same here about Verdasco - I want him to beat Murray, and then Nadal. I like Rafa, but Fernando deserve this win after AO..
Well, Williams sisters are on tonight as well as our girls (though Azarenka is Belorussian, I consider her Russian)
At least we know that one of our girls will be in a Final !

Natasha! Yeah I did. These matches are going to be the death of me...I've been up until passed 06:00 almost everyday for a month!
You were right...as you so often are. Djokovic did manage to pin Tsonga (up again, down again) to the base-line and win his game. Barely. I'm not impressed and he doesn't need to be ANYWHERE near the finals.
The Roddick Federer match WAS really good wasn't it! Great fun all the way. And you know...have you noticed that Roddick is actually a little more pleasant. He's playing very well.
Federer needs to Bagel Djokovic. I used to like him, but there's something about him that's off now. Like Stale Cheese.
Ya, Williams V Williams and Kuznetsova V Azarenka. Good stuff. Miss Safin will have to gather her wits and take a look.
And finally Verdasco V Murray. I think this one's gonna be a bomb. I want Verdasco, but Murray is so un-predictable...very difficult to read his game.
So...happy viewing mam! Post results!

Look at that, Del Potro is on his way to beating Nadal. It's true that the Spaniard isn't playing well, but Del Potro has been very consistent up to now.
But there's still a lot to play.

Ah, but as soon as Nadal's game got better, Del Potro started serving more poorly and everything went downhill after that.
I still hope Del Potro will/can work on some other moves, especially in terms of slices and volleys. You just can't beat the big guys if you don't vary your style of play and that's clearly where the Argentine can do better.
Then again, he's only 20 and he'll be Nr. 5 next week, so it's been a quick ascent to the heights of tennis. Given the new points system, he'll be at a disadvantage against the better players, seeing how QF and even SF rewards are much lower than those for finalists and winners - and, clearly, in order for him to get there he needs to beat the guys in front of him.
Not to mention that Del Potro also needs to work on his mental attitude. The utter flop against Federer at the AO showed how much belief he held in the possibility of beating him and the same came true today, for as soon as Nadal started playing better, Del Potro got more and more demoralized.

So close...and yet so far!!! There's been so many of those this tournament. He should have served out at 40-30, 3 all. We're over-reading because he's held his serve!!

I was getting ready to go to bed at 0-1, saw it go to 0-3 and just before turning off my laptop I checked on the score again, to see it's 3-3. Hard to believe, recovering two breaks like that!

I'm feeling for Del Potro, I really am. He's pulled everything out but he's up against Nadal, who's just not letting him breath! 5-5 3rd set, Del Potro serving.

6-5 Del Potro. Nadal serves to stay in. This one goes to Tie Break. After all that work, this young man deserves to win.

Great service game by Del Potro. He's really playing some good tennis. If the right points go his way, he can still win this.
However, watching the match from 3-3 onwards in the 3rd set, I do have to wonder how Nadal lost his service game twice after going up 3-0.
P.S. Both of them are young men.

Oh dear, three match points missed - or rather one missed and two saved impeccably by Nadal.
