Very Sorry for Dinara Safina !! She will have
a chance for a Grand Slam win. Just a matter
of time.....
STILL NUMBER ONE PLAYER OF THE WORLD.
WELL EARNED ...
========================================================================
Even if the number two or number three or number four ranked
player win this Grand Slam, Dinara Safina will remain number ONE.
too Bad for them.

Dinara lost today - 2nd week in a row in a 2nd round... I only watched last 3 games, and Dinara seemed very upset with her UE - she had 55 today & 13 double-faults! But, it is really getting very hard to watch her lose like this - she gets so upset & emotional, and, at 0:3 in a tie-break, she almost started to cry...and kept looking at her coach...that's just SAD... Poor girl...she is either very tired physically @ the end of year, or, emotionally.. As bad as it sounds, I hope S. Williams will take #1 so Dinara can go back to her tennis that worked for her, and she won't feel that humangous pressure! I wish Dinara best of luck - she still plays doubles with Sveta !

What happens to this girl? I failed to watch the match, but again so many mistakes ... I guess double is very tired at the end of the season.

Sorry, I don't usually throw stones at coaches, but I can't help it this time! Zhelko has done a great job of getting Dinara to #1, and being not only her coach but a friend - IN THE BEGINNING! The way he looks right now - especially the way he looks at Dinara - makes it thousand times worse for her! It's like she is playing for him, not herself, and she seems scared like a little girl, to look at him when she is losing...SAD SAD SAD And, it's not good for her - she is strong, and very hard-working! There is nothing wrong if her mom Rausa would recommend her to maybe look at other options - how many players have done that? I don't know, maybe I'm wrong...Maybe Dinara is very tired, but Zhelko is not helping by saying: "Oh no, not the double-fault! " ( I watched that & couldn't believe he actually said that!) when she is already thinking about it herself...

But being too harsh on Dinara is not good.

I am not worried for Dinara Safina
She is still young and has a long time more to keep on playing her great tennis.
She will get back to being number One again

i beg your pardon. I strongly advise you NOT TO REFER TO DINARA SAFINA ESTEEMED MOTHER AS ' this woman'
It is VERY VERY VERY RUDE . You should be ashamed of your self
How would you like it if people addressed your own mother in this manner
ANSWER ME!!!!!!!!

Ismail calm down please. Do not think zara meant it in a bad way.
zara a while back Dinara decided she didn't want her mother travelling with her anymore - comes a time when we all decide we want to be "free" and having your mother with you can be a bit restrictive. Rausa understood and instead she and Mikhail watch from home like a lot of parents.
Lets just enjoy todays good feeling with Marat.

Update, Dinara had to retire today, that back problem, it was 1-1, it was really sad she was crying, looks like she won't be able to play tomorrow.

She is retired from Doha. She may even miss AO 2010 because she must take a rest for 6 weeks. Happily she won't have a surgery... I'm so sorry because of her!!!
