2 sets all...
Marat/Dima were 2 sets up and lost both tie-breaks
Now we are down a break in a 5th set..
Romanians are playing very well as double pair..
Come on, Marat & Dima, you can break them back or Marat will have to play Hanescu early tomorrow...

Wow - I did not expect that at all!
When did Marat ever lose a match from being 2 sets up ?
I can't say Marat & Dima played badly, no they played well, both served well, had good returns & nice points @ the net, but Romanians' were better as a pair - many winners at the net..and they both served so well..
And, of course, the "key" point was in a 4th set tie-breaker when Tursonov put a smash in the net at 2:0 - we should have been 3:0 - one mini-break was enough for Romanians
Well, now a sleepless night for Tarpishev - who will play Hanescu tomorrow?
My guess is either Tursunov or Gabashvilli - I don't think Tarpi put Marat, because Marat would be more tired than other two..but you never know..

I think you are right and Tursunov might replace Marat tomorrow.

Marat is brave! dont think he will chicken out tomorrow!!
All the same if he does not play he could take a rest!! Anyway i think he has done his part playing 2 games 2 days in a row. Would be happy also he has a rest and cheer his team by the stands!!
thanks for the crystal clear advise, Marat!!
Good night!!

From davis cup.com
"Russian captain Shamil Tarpischev has gain shuffled his pack bringing in Dmitry Tursunov to face Victor Hanescu. "
So R4 Mitya VS V.HANESCU ...& R5 Misha VS V.CRIVOI

Good that the pressure is off Marat with his compatriot Tursunov taking his place against Hanescu!!
Hope Russian wins this round!!
